Back in the Saddle
No, I’m not a cowboy, but this trusty (or maybe “crusty”) old phrase pretty much fits where I am (or where I’m working to get to) right now. I haven’t posted anything new here for quite some time. I seem to have been focusing more on communicating my thoughts and views through social media — primarily Facebook. But it’s time to get back in the saddle and start moving this blog forward once again.
I realized that’s not really fair to my increasing list of readers who have so graciously subscribed to my blog over time, and I need to start reaching out to that audience once again. So . . . here I am.
You’re probably going to find that what you see on this site going forward is going to take on a wider range of topics.
In the past, the focus primarily has been on personal development and related issues, but true passion for life, I have come to realize, has a much broader meaning than just focusing on ourselves and where we are going as individuals. Much of our own personal development involves looking at the world and our role in it. Sometimes that role can get a bit messy, especially when we decide it’s time to speak our opinion or do things that we hope will make a difference.
To be honest, I really don’t know for sure exactly where this new path will lead.
I may raise some controversy at times. I might even make you angry. But that’s what happens when you become passionate about life.
I look forward to seeing where the road leads from here, and my sincere hope you’ll enjoy the ride along with me. It’s not a trip I would hope to take alone, but one I hope you’ll share with me and help navigate with your own thoughts and comments.
So . . . come along . . . jump in the saddle with me . . . join me on this journey, and let’s see where this road takes us.
